Celebrity Eclipse to return to Australasia for 2022-23 season

Celebrity Cruises has confirmed Celebrity Eclipse will return to Australia and New Zealand for the 2022-23 season with a series of five to 18-night itineraries.

The ship will offer 19 itineraries from September 2022 until April 2023, with departures from Sydney and Auckland.

The Down Under season will include a new overnight opportunity in Hobart, Cairns and Adelaide; longer stays in port with 8pm departures from popular destinations like Melbourne, Brisbane, Christchurch, Papeete and Maui; and a new port in Tasmania’s Port Arthur.

Celebrity Cruises has added three South Pacific island itineraries, calling at destinations like Fiji, New Caledonia and Vanuatu, as well as new transpacific sailings at the beginning and end of the season between Honolulu and Sydney.

The programme’s popular Auckland to Fiji voyage will depart in January for the first time to cater to New Zealand guests travelling during the January holiday season.

Celebrity Cruises will also debut three new themed experiences during the season, including Sun and Beach Escapes, Food and Wine Classics and Five Star Getaways.

The line said the three themes would be “brought to life” through enhanced onboard and shoreside programming, such as an overnight in Cairns sleeping on a private pontoon over the Great Barrier Reef and sampling the region’s wine during the line’s first-ever Australian food and wine itinerary to Melbourne, Adelaide and Hobart.

Cruises are subject to Celebrity’s Always Included policy and Cruise with Confidence guarantee of prices and flexible cancellations.
