Caribtours relaunches agent recognition programme

Luxury tour operator Caribtours has relaunched its reward recognition programme, The Diamond Club, offering agents new benefits, prizes and exclusive offers.

The Diamond Club currently comprises 68 travel agencies from across the UK and Ireland and equates to more than £21million of annual sales.

The programme is broken into four tiers based on annual sales and includes a range of benefits including fam trip places, overbranding of the operator’s marketing campaigns and complimentary flight tickets.

The new Diamond Club magazine allows members to see where they sit in the league and offers information about the operator’s exclusive activities and incentive programme.

In January, Caribtours awarded prizes including seven nights all-inclusive at Spice Island Beach Resort in Grenada; Virgin Atlantic premium seats to anywhere in the Caribbean; and £500 cash vouchers.

Head of sales Rebecca Byson said: “‘90% of our business now comes from independent luxury travel agents. This is a huge compliment to us that they trust us with their loyal clients, and we don’t ever take that lightly. The travelling public are crying out for the one-to-one personalised service that Caribtours and our travel agent partners offer – agents have had a massive role to play in navigating the complications that the last few years have brought us. Make no mistake - 2023 is the year for independent travel agents.

“We are delighted to have returned to a full schedule of agent activities including our regional events hosted twice a month, which we welcome our agent partners to join us, meet our team, our airline, hotel and tourist board partners and get all the latest news from Our Beautiful World. We also have several luxury fam trips lined up and we look forward to spoiling our agents on these fabulous trips."

She added: “Our agent partners have more authority than ever, and we recognise how important it is to support them. 2022 was our best-ever year as a business. 2023 is already set to be even greater with the support of our agent partners.”
