Bernard Carter joins Atlas Ocean Voyages as sales consultant

Bernard Carter has joined Atlas Ocean Voyages to advise its sales team on the UK and European markets.

Carter left his role as Oceania Cruises’ vice-president and managing director EMEA in the summer, having spent 18 years at the brand.

He will now work as a consultant to Atlas Ocean Voyages as the expedition yachting brand seeks further growth.

Carter said: “The Atlas Ocean Voyages team has developed the brand around two of my greatest passions – exquisite cuisine and exploration.”

Atlas Ocean Voyages said Carter would be a “trusted advisor” having spent more than 30 years in the sector, including experience in leading sales efforts at brands including Silversea Cruises and The World of ResidenSea.

Atlas Ocean Voyages president and chief executive James Rodriguez said: “Bernard Carter is a welcomed asset to the Atlas Ocean Voyage’s sales team as we continue to grow and expand our fleet and deployment footprint.

“Building and sourcing guests from new markets is an important piece of our expansion plan and we welcome Bernard’s support in our international sales initiative.”

Atlas Ocean Voyages, a brand of Mystic Invest Holding, operates expedition yachts carrying fewer than 200 guests in “five-star comfort”.
