Our World for Cruise aims to ’challenge misconceptions’ around cruising
An increase in demand for cruise product has led luxury operator Carrier to launch a dedicated brochure.
The ‘Our World for Cruise’ brochure was unveiled at the inaugural Carrier Summit, which took place at Corinthia London on November 25.
The operator said the move was a result of growing demand for cruising, with Carrier reporting a 69% increase in cruise sales for 2024 so far, as well as its biggest booking to date: a private yacht charter worth more than £2 million.
Speaking at the Summit, Carrier’s product manager for cruise, Helen Tabois, said: “Cruise is our best-kept secret. Carrier has been selling cruise for a lot of years, but now we’re really shouting about it.
“Everything that agents love about booking a land holiday with Carrier is the same for cruise. The sales staff, the client experience team and the concierge team give it all the love, care and attention that you want your clients to have.”
She added: “Our new lookbook is designed to do away with any misconceptions and present cruise in a way that will appeal to our ever-growing demographic of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clientele.”
The brochure covers ocean, river and expedition cruising, as well as private yacht charters.
