Luxury tour operator Azure has grown its agency sales team after recruiting Tim Maloney as business development manager. 

Maloney has more than 20 years’ experience in the travel industry, having spent 19 years at tour operator Elegant Resorts in various roles. He joins Azure from home rental booking platform ONEE Luxury Travel where he was head of business development. He has also previously worked for UK holiday home brand Luxury Cottages. 

Managing director Jayne O’Gorman said: “Tim is well-known and respected in the luxury holiday arena and joins Azure with a whole wealth of knowledge from his 21 years in travel. Tim will work closely with all our trade partners and is looking forward to hitting the road soon."

Maloney added: “I am delighted to be a part of Azure and am excited to be doing what I love best – working with our travel friends and talking about all things luxury. I have travelled extensively over the years, including the Caribbean, Asia, Indian Ocean and Europe, so Azure is the perfect fit for me to share my experiences.”
