e Collection has appointed Victoria Wake to the newly created role of UK sales manager, tasked with building sales and brand recognition across the region.

She will oversee the sales for the group’s Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives and Grand Hotel Residencia, Gran Canaria.

Wake will develop relationships with leading luxury tour operators and agents and delivering sales training.

With nearly 30 years’ industry experience, Wake joins from The Lux Collective, where she held the position of senior sales and marketing manager.

Before that, Victoria worked at Air Mauritius and Royal Caribbean Group.

Seaside Collection said she has “a wide network of key industry contacts and an appreciation for the needs of the market from both a trade and consumer perspective”.

Wake will support managing director Charlie Hewitt Davies, who joined last year from Eden Luxury Travel.

She said: “Both Seaside Finolhu Baa Atoll Maldives and Grand Hotel Residencia hold such appealing propositions for the UK market and I look forward to developing these further with new and familiar trade contacts.�
