Guests attending this month’s Aspire Awards could win a villa stay in Corfu if they donate to the event’s chosen cause, Alder Hey Children’s Charity.
The event is being held at Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester on October 9 and, as well as honouring the best luxury travel businesses in the country, will also raise funds for this very worthwhile cause.
The charity raises money for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool, a world-class NHS facility that treats more than 1,200 children every day and supports 450,000 children and young people each year.
Donations are vital. Since 2013, more than £74 million has been raised for life-saving medical equipment and facilities, helping to improve patients’ lives.
The hospital, which has always been at the heart of the community in the northwest, found itself in the national spotlight last month when children injured in a knife attack in Southport were taken to Alder Hey for treatment.
Aspire editor Hollie-Rae Brader said: “Alder Hey is an incredible hospital. My roots are in Liverpool and I recently moved back to the city. I know from family experience just how important the work at Alder Hey is. The care and support they offer to children from the northwest and beyond is incredible and I’m delighted that we’ll be raising money for such a worthwhile charity.”
CV Villas is once again supporting the awards’ charity and will be giving away a seven-night stay in a property in northeast Corfu, including flights for two people.
Pete Brudenell, managing director of CV Villas, said: “We are delighted to support Alder Hey Children’s Charity, whose vital work provides life-saving medical equipment and facilities, ensuring young patients receive the best support during their most challenging times.
“At this year’s Aspire Awards, we are excited to offer guests the chance to win a CV Villas holiday to Corfu, the destination where our journey began over 50 years ago.”
