Anantara launches new package to celebrate Phuket reopening

In preparation for Phuket’s international borders re-opening on July 1, Anantara is launching the Ultimate Family Vacation package.

Available at Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas and Anantara Layan Phuket Resort, the package includes luxury accommodation with breakfast, access to Anantara Vacation Club’s water park, a selection of fun kids’ activities, savings on spa treatments and dining, non-motorised water sports and early check-in/late checkout.

At Anantara Mai Khao and Anantara Layan, families can expect an unparalleled island experience, immersed in Phuket’s renowned natural beauty. Nestled in tropical gardens, Thai-style villas feature private pools, spacious indoor and outdoor relaxation areas and up to two bedrooms, all within steps of the Andaman shoreline.

Each resort also features a comprehensive array of onsite leisure options including Muay Thai boxing, yoga and fitness, Spice Spoons cooking classes, and dedicated kids’ clubs.

Outside the resorts, guests are free to explore Phuket, whether its a trip to the Old Town and night markets, a visit to an elephant sanctuary, an organized walking tour to Big Buddha or just spending time on some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

From July 1, double-vaccinated travellers will be able to enter Phuket without needing to quarantine. Requirements include proof of vaccination, a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of departure, Covid screening on arrival, a Certificate of Entry, travel insurance with Covid-19 cover, and downloading the Thailand Plus tracking app before departure and uploading the required information.

Travellers must also stay at a SHA Plus hotel – one with enhanced safety protocols and where at least 70% of staff have been vaccinated. Both Anantara resorts are SHA-approved.
