Aman commences construction of luxury yacht arm

Aman has commenced construction of its luxury motor yacht, Aman at Sea, in partnership with Cruise Saudi, with the hope of setting sail in 2027.

The 183-metre vessel will feature 50 suites, each with a private balcony. The culinary offering on board will include an informal all-day restaurant as well as international dining options, and a relaxed club and lounge.

The yacht will also house an Aman Spa complete with a Japanese garden and, at the stern of the ship, a Beach Club with direct access to the water.

Aman said the yacht would be dual fuel powered in line with its commitment to sustainability.

To celebrate the start of development, the brand held a traditional steel cutting ceremony with its construction partners at the T.Mariotti shipyard in Genoa, Italy.

Chairman and chief executive of Aman Group, Vlad Doronin, said: “The steel cutting signifies a key milestone in the development of Aman at Sea and my strategic evolution of the brand, as we continue to diversify our geographical portfolio on land and at sea.”
