Travel Counsellors seeks to attract new talent via podcast collaboration

Travel Counsellors has forged a podcast partnership as it seeks to attract newcomers to the homeworking business.

The company will feature in a number of episodes of the High Performance Podcast, hosted by broadcaster Jake Humphrey and expert Professor Damian Hughes.

A marketing campaign across social media, owned brand channels and external media outlets over the next 12 months is planned as part of the collaboration.

The podcast runs weekly interviews with a range of high performing individuals from Olympic sports stars and footballers to award-winning musicians, Michelin-starred chefs and world-renowned scientists.

The tie-in Humphrey and Hughes’ first-hand experience of booking leisure and business travel with Travel Counsellors.

The duo also appeared on stage at the company’s global annual conference in November with a panel of individual Travel Counsellors and support staff to discuss their personal and professional achievements.

Travel Counsellors customer director Dave Callan said: “Partnering with the High Performance Podcast will enable us to reach people who have all the right attributes to join our thriving community.

“The authenticity of us working with loyal customers as partners is significant, and we share huge admiration for the High Performance team and their entrepreneurial spirit, their community of inspiring, high-achieving guests and the avid listeners that Jake and Damian have built.

“Aligning Travel Counsellors with the High Performance Podcast benefits our business owner community, and further supports our strategy to attract more like-minded entrepreneurs who can use our platform to launch, grow and scale their own travel businesses in a flexible way that is personal to them.”

The podcast’s partnerships manager George MacDonald added: “We are excited to kick off our partnership with Travel Counsellors, having witnessed first-hand how the company’s business owners use their passion and dedication to customer care to forge a successful startup career in travel.

“There’s some really great synergy between the businesses that individual Travel Counsellors build and grow, our guest interviews and the community of listeners who love to hear the personal stories behind the path to success.”
