Travel Counsellors celebrates achievements of ‘Gold’ agents

Travel Counsellors held a celebratory dinner recently to recognise the achievements of its top performers who have reached ‘Gold’ status.

The event marked the 20th anniversary of Gold at Travel Counsellors, coinciding with the homeworking agency’s 30th anniversary year.

Held at the Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel, the dinner hosted almost 130 Travel Counsellors, including 16 ‘new-to-Gold’ agents, more than 20 support team colleagues and several supplier partners.

Special recognition was given to the six Travel Counsellors who have maintained Gold status from the beginning. All of them had achieved their record year in 2023.

The event began with afternoon tea, followed by a fireside chat with some of the Gold Travel Counsellors and activities such as cocktails and terrarium masterclasses. The evening featured a three-course dinner, awards ceremony and entertainment.

Jim Eastwood, global sales director at Travel Counsellors, said: “The event was a lovely opportunity to come together, celebrate our remarkable achievements over the past 12 months and indeed 20 years of Gold, and strengthen the relationships of our community.

“Our Gold TCs are all leaders within our community and in the wider travel industry.”

There are currently more than 250 Gold travel counsellors worldwide.

Those with Gold status will also be invited to attend one of five exclusive overseas trips planned for later this year.

The Gold dinner was sponsored by Celebrity Cruises, Discover Qatar, Regent Seven Seas, Grecotel Hotel & Resorts, Conrad Maldives Rangali, Visit Dubai and Cunard.
