Tourism New Zealand to launch trade campaign to ‘inspire’ UK agents

Tourism New Zealand welcomed UK agents to its first in-person trade event since 2019, where it announced the launch of a trade campaign.

The tourism board hosted a two-day event at The Tower Hotel, London and brought together 48 buyers from the UK and Europe, and 49 Kiwi sellers to educate the trade on how to sell New Zealand holidays for the coming summer season, as well as to reconnect and boost product knowledge.

Fifty agents were given training workshops by representatives from Singapore Airlines and New Zealand’s regions, and were given a preview of Tourism New Zealand’s latest trade campaign.

The campaign will feature a training series to help agents sell New Zealand holidays, as well as to “inspire” them, the tourism board said.

It is scheduled to launch at the end of the month.
