The Ozen Collection has unveiled plans to open its first property in India in Q4 2023.

Ozen Mansion Kolkata will join the brand’s two hotels in the Maldives, Ozen Life Maadhoo and Ozen Reserve Bolifushi, and mark its first property outside the Indian Ocean destination. 

The hotel will be located in Kolkata’s New Town and will be reminiscent of a stately residence, the brand said. 

The hotel will feature 235 units ranging from 70sqm club rooms to two presidential suites with private pools. 

The Ozen Collection said the property would offer a unique ‘club lounge’ concept, with each space named after iconic cultural elements of Kolkata such as Victoria, Chowringhee, Eden Garden, Howrah and Kalighat.

Plans for the hotel feature three signature eateries, including an international all-day dining restaurant, private dining areas, two bars and a bakery and café. 

Facilities will include a swimming pool with a spacious deck area, an expansive Ele I Na Elements of Nature spa and wellness centre and a children’s playroom.

Home to large indoor and outdoor venues, The Ozen Collection hopes the hotel will become the city’s new event venue of choice. Spaces will include a state-of-the-art banquet hall with pre-function space, an open-air courtyard and lawn, boardrooms, three large conference rooms and a venue for poolside wedding rituals and ceremonies.
