New hotel The Londoner to open in September

New hotel The Londoner in Leicester Square has confirmed it will open to guests this September.

The 16-storey new build property will feature 350 guest rooms, suites and a tower penthouse as well as two private screening rooms, a ballroom and a gym and wellness centre.

The Londoner will offer six dining options, including bars and a ‘tavern’, al fresco dining on the ground floor and Japanese lounge bar with a rooftop terrace and a fire pit.

The hotel opens as part of a larger investment project for Leicester Square, with local authorities funding public realm areas and an arts and culture programme, which launches later this year.

The Londoner also secured a £175 million Green Loan from HSBC UK to ensure it exceeds the BREEAM Excellent category in building environmental and sustainable performance.
