Luxury lifestyle hotel collection Ennismore has revealed plans to expand its Delano brand to the United Arab Emirates for the first time, marking its debut in Dubai.
The property is set to open later this year on Bluewaters Island.
The resort will feature 251 rooms including 84 suites, some with private pools.
There will also be four “distinctive” F&B concepts including a Levantine-inspired venue, an Italian restaurant, Delano’s signature Rose Bar and a restaurant and pool club in collaboration with upscale hospitality operator Paris Society.
The opening comes after a partnership deal was signed between Ennismore and Dubai Holding last year with the aim to create a “unique luxury lifestyle experience” in the popular tourist destination.
Ennismore’s founder and co-chief executive, Sharan Pasricha, said: “Delano is set to introduce a new level of luxury, discernment and vibrant energy to the city as our debut property in the region.”
Group chief executive of Dubai Holding, Amit Kaushal, added: “The launch of Delano Dubai underscores our commitment to set new standards of excellence in luxury hospitality and strengthen Dubai’s position as a leading international tourism hub.”
The announcement follows the recent opening of sister property Banyan Tree Dubai, also on Bluewaters Island.
