Silversea unveils details of Silver Nova's onboard offering

Silversea Cruises claims its new ship Silver Nova will have the “largest choice of bars, lounges and restaurants in ultra-luxury cruising”.The 728-guest ship will have 10 bars and lounges, eight restaurants and a number of other public venues when it launches in August.

The brand said the ship would include a number of signature venues including The Dolce Vita Lounge and The Venetian Lounge, as well as new venues such as The Shelter, a sophisticated evening-only bar accommodating just 32 guests at a time.The S.A.L.T. Bar is being moved to deck 10 and will have a larger capacity, with seating for 42 guests.

 Also moved to deck 1o is S.A.L.T. Lab, a test kitchen which allows guests to learn more about a region through the lens of food and drink.Silver Nova will offer guests the choice of eight signature restaurants. Decks three, four and five will accommodate Silver Nova’s indoor restaurants - La Terrazza, Atlantide, S.A.L.T. Kitchen, La Dame, Silver Note and Kaiseki.

While the Marquee on deck 10 will house two outdoor venues, Spaccanapoli and the Grill.The ship, which Silversea said will boast pioneering sustainability credentials, will also feature Arts Cafe, a three-storey atrium, casino and two outdoor bars, the Pool Bar and the Dusk Bar.Silversea’s president and chief executive Barbara Muckermann said: “In addition to her pioneering sustainability credentials, Silver Nova will unlock a new luxury experience for our guests, offering an industry-leading variety of bars, lounges, and restaurants with an entirely new design approach for Silversea.“
