Silversea unveils 2025 world cruise

Silversea has unveiled a 2025 world cruise, featuring 59 destinations over 136 days.

The Controtempo World Cruise, sailing on 596-passenger Silver Dawn, will depart Tokyo on January 13, 2025, and will visit three continents before arriving in New York on May 29.

The world cruise will incorporate 19 maiden calls and seven “exclusive” events, including a Bollywood production in Mumbai, a gala dinner in Cairo, and a photo exhibition in Stockholm.

Passengers can also experience events in Hong Kong, Singapore, Istanbul, Naples, Lisbon and Reykjavik.

Pre-sale opens today (July 20) for all Venetian Society members, while sale opens to the general public on August 2, 2022.

President and chief executive of Silversea Cruises Roberto Martinoli said: “Feeding the incredibly high demand for extended voyages, our destination experts have designed our new Controtempo World Cruise 2025 to sail offbeat, enabling the world’s most experienced travellers to rediscover the world in a whole new light.

“Controtempo will take guests closer to the authentic heartbeat of iconic and off-the-beaten-path destinations. We will be travelling from east to west, with more time ashore in unconventional seasons.”
