Silversea launches bonus commission incentive to support agents

Silversea is offering £150 bonus commission to agents who book a select 2022 voyage before September 30 this year.

The extra commission will be added by the luxury line to any base rate commission individual agents earn and is only available on sailings departing between April 1 and December 31, 2022.

Silversea confirmed that bonus commission can be earned on bookings made using future cruise credit.

However, bookings must be confirmed before September 30 to earn the bonus commission.

Peter Shanks, Silversea’s Managing Director UK & Ireland, said: “We are so grateful for the support of our travel agent partners – and these initiatives are designed to give them every ounce of support during these tricky times.

“We are especially pleased with the traction on 2022 sailings for Silversea, early proof that both pent-up demand and the growing interest in smaller ultra-luxury ships will lead to a sustained pathway back to future growth.”

Earlier this summer Silversea released details about two new cruises departing in November 2022, including one on soon-to-launch vessel Silver Dawn (pictured).

The ship, due to launch later this year, will operate a seven-day sailing from Barcelona to Lisbon, departing on November 2 next year.

Silver Shadow will sail a 14-day voyage on November 10 from Hong Kong.

The 388-passenger vessel will call at Ha Long Bay, Chan May (Hue/ Da Nang), Ho Chi Minh City, all Vietnam, and Bangkok, Thailand.
