Ritz-Carlton Abama introduces 'villa concept' and new app

The Ritz-Carlton Abama has added a semi-private ‘villa club’ concept to its offering, as well as introducing more dining options for guests.

The Tenerife-based property reopens on July 24 and will see guests assigned to a sea or garden room or suite in a standalone two-floor ‘villa’ building. Each with its own pool for exclusive use by the villa’s limited number of residents.

Adult-only villas will benefit from an outdoor gym, while the children-friendly family villas will have an outdoor playground and will be located closest to the kid’s club.

All villa reservations include an a la carte breakfast in the El Mirador Restaurant and access to the mirador Club Lounge where complimentary aperitifs are served at sunset each day.

For the first time, guests across the hotel will be able to order guest from all resort restaurants to their room, while a new informal Beach Club Restaurant has also been added to the hotel’s roster of dining options.

The property has also introduced an app called ‘Stay’. This will house an interactive resort map, daily programmes and activities. Guests can also use the app to book restaurants and to make spa reservations.

It will also house digital menus for all restaurants across the resort, while digital newspapers and magazines will also be available on the platform.
