Oceania to embark on grand voyage of Med

A 33-day circumnavigation of the Mediterranean has been introduced by Oceania Cruises for autumn 2023.

The 1,238-passenger ship Marina will sail from Venice to Barcelona calling at 28 different ports, including an overnight stay in Istanbul.

The new grand voyage departs on October 11 next year covering calls in ten countries, including Italy, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Malta, Israel, Egypt and Tunisia.

Three shorter segments of up to 12 days in duration are also on offer.

Oceania Cruises president and chief executive Haward Sherman said: ”With demand continuing to increase for longer and more destination-immersive voyages, we are thrilled to reveal this new itinerary offering experiences in both iconic and off-the-beaten-path ports of call in a corner of the world with rich history and cultural wonders.”
