Nobu Hospitality outlines global expansion plans for 2024 and 2025

Nobu Hospitality is set to grow further over the next two years, with seven new openings planned for 2024 and 2025.

The global lifestyle brand, owned by Robert de Niro, Nobu Matsuhisa and Meir Teper, currently has a total of 38 hotels, resorts and residences open and in development.

In early 2024, the brand will welcome Nobu Hotel Atlantic City in the newly reimagined Caesars Atlantic City.

The property will occupy the top three floors of the Centurion Tower and will feature 86 rooms and suites, a Nobu restaurant, access to all Caesars’ facilities and views of the ocean and the Jersey Shore coastline.

Nobu Hospitality will make its Canadian debut next summer with the opening of Nobu Hotel Toronto, which will feature a 36-key hotel, residences, and a bi-level Nobu restaurant with a bar and lounge, as well as a sushi bar and outdoor terrace.

The property is located in the Entertainment District and is situated above the historic Pilkington Glass Factory, with views of Lake Ontario and the city.

Nobu Hotel New Orleans will join the portfolio in autumn 2024.

Nobu Hospitality has collaborated with long-standing partner Caesars Entertainment to open a hotel and restaurant in the new Caesars New Orleans, formerly Harrah’s New Orleans, which recently underwent a multi-million-dollar transformation.

The hotel will feature 54 guest rooms and suites.

In 2025, the brand will welcome Nobu Hotel Madrid, located in the heart of the Spanish capital’s Cortes District, between Plaza de Cibeles and Puerta del Sol.

The property will offer 50 guest rooms and suites as well as a tri-level Nobu restaurant and bar, a lounge with skyline views, a large rooftop bar, and spa and wellness facilities.

Nobu Hospitality will also welcome its first hotels in Portugal and New York in 2025.

Nobu Hotel Lisbon will sit on the famed Avenida da Liberdade - known for its luxury boutiques and 19th-century architecture – giving guests direct access to the city’s retail, restaurants and key cultural landmarks. It will feature 72 guest rooms and suites.

The brand’s debut in New York will be Plaza Athénée Nobu Hotel & Spa New York, which will house 145 rooms and suites, a Nobu omakase experience, a bar and lounge, and a rooftop area for private parties, with panoramic views of the city.

The final opening confirmed for 2025 is a Nobu hotel, restaurant and residences in the Eastern Province of Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia.

The property will be situated in a mixed-use luxury complex on the waterfront area of the city, facing the Arabian Gulf.

A total of 98 guest rooms and suites will be located in the hotel and there will be a Nobu restaurant on the lobby level, alongside swimming pools, a wellness centre and meeting and event space.

Nobu Hospitality said properties were also in development in Abu Dhabi, Hamburg, Punta Cana, Orlando, Danang, Tulum, Bangkok, Al Marjan Island, São Paulo, Tel Aviv, Cairo, and North Coast Egypt.
