New St Kitts and Nevis operator to work with the trade

A new tour operator and destination management company specialising in the Caribbean islands of St Kitts and Nevis is planning to work with UK travel agents.

Nevis Sun Tours offers ground arrangements, including airport transfers, accommodation and tours for both islands in one package.

It is in the process of approaching agents and offers 10% commission on accommodation and 10% on tours and activities.

The company aims to make booking and experiencing the sister islands in one trip easier with prearranged, all-inclusive ground packages. Agents would need to source flights separately.

The packages include both islands either through a one-day tour or multi-week trips. Tours include cycling, food and walking trips.

An all-inclusive five-night St Kitts-Nevis Summer Explorer, including four or five star hotel accommodation, all meals, transfers and tours, costs from £2,983 for two people between April 1 and October 31 this year.

Chief executive Greg Phillip, former chief executive of the Nevis Tourism Authority, is running the tour operator alongside wife Moreen, who manages operations.

He said: “Our local hotel partners in St. Kitts and Nevis are among the best in the Caribbean, and they along with our other service providers make it possible for us to deliver on our promise to serve travellers and travel professionals by making it easier to sell and book Caribbean vacations to St. Kitts and Nevis.”
