Ikos Resorts unveils enhancements ahead of summer season

Ikos Resorts has made a number of enhancements to three of its properties ahead of the summer season.

Facilities and experiences have been upgraded at Ikos Olivia (pictured) and Ikos Oceania in Halkidiki, Greece and new property Ikos Andalusia in Spain.

Ikos Andalusia, which opened in Marbella last year, will offer a new state-of-the-art kids' club from July 1. The new Heroes Village will offer a selection of indoor and outdoor spaces, all operated in line with UK Ofsted standards, and a range of daily activities including arts and crafts, cooking masterclasses and eco explorations.

The property’s complimentary Golden Mile Experience, which offers guests the opportunity to bike or hike to the old town of Estepona, will also continue this year.

Meanwhile, Ikos Oceania will unveil a new beachfront restaurant this year. The hotel's former beach bar has been transformed into a day-to-night alfresco dining space, featuring views of Mount Olympus.

Ikos Oceania and Ikos Andalusia will also feature new outdoor gyms this year.

In addition, the ongoing premier football coaching partnership with Football Escapes has been extended at Ikos Andalusia and Ikos Olivia.

Football stars involved in the scheme include Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Cole, Bobby Zamora, Joe Cole and Rachel Yankey.

Sessions will run at Ikos Olivia between August 1-5 and August 22-26, and at Ikos Andalusia from April 11-15, July 25-29 and August 15-19.

Ikos Resorts owns five properties in total, including Ikos Aria on the island of Kos in Greece and Ikos Dassia in Corfu.
