Four Seasons revives Scenic Route programme

Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts has relaunched its popular Scenic Route programme, featuring eight road-trip journeys in Europe.

This year, journeys will take place between Madrid and Lisbon, and Prague and Budapest, as well as in London and Paris.

Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorous will also join the Scenic Route for the first time this year, offering a private sunset yacht cruise along the Bosphorus among other experiences.

In Paris, Europe’s largest private collection of French art nouveau at Maison Belle Epoque, the former house of the founders of Perrier-Jouet, will open its doors for the first time exclusively to guests of Four Seasons Hotel George V.

The road-trip will also take them along the longest wine road in France’s Loire Valley with a Four Seasons sommelier before sampling the produce of the wine districts of Orleans, Meung-sur-Loire and Sully-sur-Loire.

Between Four Seasons Hotel Madrid and Four Seasons Hotel Ritz Lisbon, guests can cruise winding streets on a vintage moto-sidecar for an Underdogs Gallery contemporary art tour, or enjoy a sunset speedboat ride on a drive between Four Seasons Hotel Prague and Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace Budapest.

The Scenic Route programme can be enjoyed in one day or as part of a longer journey, and each route can be customised to include bespoke experiences.

“The past few years have reminded us all of the importance of taking the time to pause and notice the details around us,” said Simon Casson, president of hotel operations - Europe, Middle East and Africa.

“This notion of slowing down and enjoying the journey is what inspired the creation of the Scenic Route with Four Seasons, and this latest offering is all about celebrating heartfelt connections with the places we visit and the people we encounter.

“Cherry-picking the best insider knowledge from our world-renowned concierges, each route immerses travellers in cultural gems, authentic cuisine, local art, history, and more.”
