Elegant Resorts unveils new wellness collection

Luxury tour operator Elegant Resort has unveiled a new collection of properties dedicated to wellness in response to rising demand from consumers.

The Wellness Collection by Elegant Resorts features 32 handpicked wellness resorts and retreats from around the world, including Asia, Africa, the Americas and Europe.

The properties offer a wide range of therapies and treatments, from emotional healing and results-orientated fitness programmes to personal programmes by ayuveda experts and mindfulness.

The collection is accessible on the operator’s website, with each property entry featuring its wellness offering and approach, with contact details for clients to discuss specific needs with an agent.

Elegant Resorts said each wellbeing escape offered personalised service, state-of-the-art facilities, high-quality dining options and "something unique".

Managing Director Lisa Fitzell said: “I’m delighted to be launching our new wellness collection. Wellness has always been very close to my heart. I go on one retreat a year to reset and feel the benefits from it for the rest of the year. I know wellness is very much on our clients’ minds and while we always featured some wonderful spas, we wanted to offer an expertly curated collection of places that deliver the best programmes and treatments so our clients can easily choose what suits them best. Our team has been trained to offer the best advice and knowledge when it comes to booking a wellness holiday.”

Highlights of the collection include Palmaïa, The House of Aïa, an all-inclusive, all-suite property set between the Mexican jungle and the Caribbean Sea on the Riviera Maya, which offers plant-based fine-dining and complimentary wellness rituals including sound baths and ancestral dance.

Clients can also book Balinese health retreat Como Shambhala Estate, which combines tailored exercise with specialist Como Shambhala cuisine, and the adult-only Joali Being, the first luxury hotel of its kind in the Maldives, which offers all-encompassing, bespoke and transformational wellness programmes.

The collection also include Six Senses at Zighy Bay in Oman, Thailand’s Chiva-Som and Rakxa Wellness and Euphoria in Greece.
