The platform allows users to book holidays based on how they want to feel
Luxury travel company Black Tomato has introduced a new AI-powered booking tool that filters holidays by emotion.
The Pursuit of Feeling platform “reimagines travel planning” by focusing on the emotions users want to feel when travelling. The tool centres around five key themes: Revitalised; Freedom; Distraction; Challenged; and Contentment.
Within the platform is the AI-powered search tool The Feelings Engine, where users can input their desired feelings. The engine then reviews Black Tomato’s portfolio to deliver personalised trip recommendations to evoke the specified emotion.
A statement from the brand said: “The platform harnesses a huge swathe of data on the website through proprietary-augmented intelligence. From there, recommendations are refined by a team of travel experts for additional personalisation – the inimitable human touch.”
Alongside The Feelings Engine, Pursuit of Feeling will introduce a podcast and five new global itineraries based on the platform’s key themes. These include a nine-day trip to India to feel revitalised; six days in Chile to feel freedom; a 12-night trip across Mongolia to feel distraction; a visit to Greenland (pictured) to feel challenged; and two weeks in Greece to feel contentment.
