Edition Hotels has appointed George Fleck as senior vice-president and global brand leader to spearhead the brand’s plans for global expansion.
In his new role, Fleck will oversee the brand’s culture, training platforms, new hotel openings, design evolution, marketing strategy, food and beverage concept development and nightlife programming.
He will also dually serve as senior vice-president and global brand leader for sister hotel chain, W Hotels.
Fleck has more than 20 years’ experience with parent company Marriott International, having worked in various roles around the world spanning brand management, marketing and sales leadership.
Most recently, he was vice-president and global brand leader for St. Regis Hotels & Resorts.
“I am honoured to step into this role and usher Edition into its next chapter,” Fleck said.

Edition Hotels said Fleck was assuming his new role at a “critical time” of expansion, having recently added the 20th propertyto its portfolio in Jeddah and looking towards new openings in Lake Como, Dali and the Red Sea in 2025.
