Cunard appoints David Jones as marketing and sales VP

Cunard has appointed David Jones as vice-president of global marketing and UK and EMEA sales.

He has replaced Angus Struthers who left the line earlier this month following the naming ceremony of new ship Queen Anne.

Jones joined Carnival UK in 2017 and has been marketing director of Cunard for more than five years.

In his new position, he has been tasked with overseeing key areas of the line’s marketing and sales strategies, driving growth and strengthening the brand’s presence globally while delivering sales strategies across Europe, the Middle East and Asia, Cunard said.

President Katie McAlister added: “We are delighted to welcome David to our leadership team at such a crucial moment for our brand.

“His experience will be instrumental as we continue to build our global marketing presence.”
