Cookson Adventures strengthens sales team

Cookson Adventures has made five new appointments across its sales, marketing and PR teams at its office in London.

The luxury tour operator has hired Kerry Dunlop (pictured, left) and Anna Kan (pictured, right) as project managers to design, plan and execute personalised adventures for clients worldwide.

Dunlop has over 20 years’ experience in project and event management, joining Cookson Adventures from an events and communications agency where she delivered launch campaigns, gala dinners and corporate conferences in international locations including Japan, Sicily, India and Israel.

She has experience working on a variety of different events for high-profile brands such as Microsoft, Mercedes-Benz, Land Rover, Captain Morgan and Ministry of Sound.

Meanwhile, Kan was raised in the Russian Arctic and was previously general manager at a leading luxury adventure travel company based in Moscow. She has experience leading private expeditions in remote territories and designing unique luxury camps in the middle of the Siberian taiga and Atacama deserts.

Cookson Adventures said the hirings were in response to “strong global demand for innovative and highly personalised trips”.

The operator has also recruited Anna Hunt as content marketing executive, with a focus on project managing direct-to-client campaigns, and Tamsin Graham as PR and communications manager.

Finally, Amber Khan has been appointed as the new office manager and personal assistant to Henry Cookson, overseeing the managing of the operator’s Holland Park office and HR across the team.

“Our international clients have been travelling to some of the more remote corners of the planet over the last year and with our expertise in using explorer yachts, private aviation and mobile luxury camps, we have been able to create some of our most ambitious trips to date,” said Nick Davies, director of projects at Cookson Adventures.

“To build on this increasing demand for exploration, we feel now is the right time to grow our expert team at Cookson Adventures. These new hires all bring a wealth of expertise, knowledge and contacts as we look to maintain our reputation at the forefront of the luxury adventure travel industry and continue to drive forward our expansion plans in the UK market and internationally.”

He added: “We predict enquiries to grow throughout this year, so are continuing to recruit for dynamic project managers. We welcome applications from individuals passionate about adventure travel and who have the skills and experience required to plan totally unique adventures from the ground up in some of the most exciting parts of the world.”
