Luxury Caribbean resort Como Parrot Cay has introduced complimentary on-site Covid-19 testing for all guests.

The private island in Turks and Caicos will supply and administer lateral flow antigen tests prior to departure and complete all the necessary documentation for guests to safely enter the UK upon their return.

It comes after the UK government issued an order on January 13 requiring all air passengers landing in the UK from a foreign country to present a negative result before boarding their flight.

Como Parrot Cay said it was working in association with medical centre Grace Bay Medical and had received Turks and Caicos government approval to perform the tests on site.

It added that those travelling to Turks and Caicos would need to adhere to entry requirements set by the government before and after travelling, which currently include a negative Covid-19 PCR test.
