Classic Collection unveils ‘biggest ever’ summer brochure for 2023

Classic Collection has unveiled its “biggest ever” summer brochure for 2023, as it said agents were predicting a “very busy peak season”.

The 324-page summer 2023 brochure features more than 350 properties in 15 short-haul destinations across 11 countries, with flights available from 26 UK airports.

The operator said 177 hotels included in the brochure are particularly suited to families, while 63 are all-inclusive, 51 are adult-only, 25 are boutique and 19 have Michelin-starred dining options.

Guests on the eight-night Highlights of Rome and Sorrento itinerary will take tours of the Vatican, Colosseum, Naples, Capri, Positano and the Amalfi Coast, as well as a food and wine tour of the Roman countryside, and a private cookery demonstration in Sorrento.

The lead-in price for the tour which departs on May 13, 2023, is £3,615.

It includes a three-night stay at Hotel Dei Mellini and four nights at Grand Hotel Aminta, both on a B&B basis, as well as return flights, first class rail travel and transfers.

Alex Gavalda, director of internal sales, product and commercial, said the operator had increased capacity in the Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Greece and Cyprus in response to “strong summer sales in the latter part of 2022”.

“Our most popular brochure is out in time for what our agent partners are telling us will be a very busy peak season,” he said.

“Strong summer sales in the latter part of 2022 have encouraged our product team to work hard in securing increased product inventory in key Classic Collection destinations such as the Canaries, Balearics, Sorrento, Greece and Cyprus.

“Our new brochure focuses on some of the finest hotels in Europe, the Mediterranean and North Africa.

“It highlights many travel options and combinations including two and multi-centre holidays, cruises, tours, exceptional rail journeys and island-hopping suggestions, as well as introducing no fewer than 40 new properties.

“In response to encouraging sales, particularly in Spain, Greece and Cyprus, we have added a lot more capacity providing travel agents and our mutual customers with even more choice.”

He added: “For summer 2023, we believe we are offering the most comprehensive selection of flight options and luxury product of any UK operator.”
