Classic Collection to visit 300 agents in February ‘sales blitz’

Classic Collection is aiming to visit at least 300 agents this month in a “sales blitz”.

A total of 25 members of the operator’s agency sales, marketing product and commercial, pre-travel, contact centre and senior management teams will be on the road throughout February to share information on both the Classic Collection and trade-friendly Classic Package Holidays brands.

Si Morris-Green, director of agency sales and marketing, said both brands have experienced “so many recent developments”, including the addition of more than 1,000 hotels, launch of new segmented brochures and an agent reward scheme, and he hopes the visits will help to “build on the sales momentum of January peaks”.

“It’s great to be able to have an extended team out on the road to share news with our trade partners,” said Morris-Green.

“For more than 35 years, we’ve been one of the most trade-friendly operators in the UK so we’ll be catching up with many established partners whilst strengthening relationships with those agents who have more recently come on board.

“It will also be beneficial for agents to strike up a conversation with colleagues from across many areas of our business and gain a wider understanding of both Classic brands.”
