Restructure ’recognises changes within travel agency landscape’
Classic Collection has restructured its trade team to “ensure the correct focus” on expanding areas of its business.
Leanne Edwards will focus on retail sales partners and will be supported by three regional sales managers: Ashleigh Raymond (North & Scotland), Adam Courtney (Midlands & Northern Ireland) and Harry Williams (South of England).
Jorge Quibell will be responsible for strategic partners such as homeworkers, independents, core agents and consortia members, and will have three account managers: Kim Sellman, Lucy Barton and Sarah Ayling-Webster reporting into him.
The strategic partners’ account managers will also be out on the road visiting agents and homeworkers in addition to managing commercial relationships.
Classic Collection is to also appoint two new trade sales support executives to assist independent and core agents and strategic partners.
The trade-only operator also plans a new travel agent training academy later this month.
Si Morris-Green, Classic Collections B2B director, said the new focus “recognises the changes within the travel agency landscape”.
“Our new configuration means we’re better placed to target our different types of agent partners, giving them the ongoing support that they need whether they’re high street multiples, miniples, independents, or homeworkers.
“Whether agents sell via Classic Collection’s 24/7/365 agent-only portal or via our Select by Classic Collection contact centre, or both, our enhanced, experienced trade-facing team will be there to increase ongoing sales for our trade partners from our recently expanded product range.”
