Celebrity Cruises to start year-round Med programme in 2023

Celebrity Cruises will sail year-round in the Mediterranean for the first time from autumn next year.

Its first winter season in the region will run from September 2023 to March 2024 on Celebrity Infinity, which will be the only Celebrity ship sailing in the Mediterranean all year round.

The winter season will start with nine and 10-night itineraries from Barcelona and Lisbon, visiting destinations such as Palma in Majorca and Seville.

From October 2023 to January 2024, Infinity will be based in Barcelona and offer on 11 and 12-night itineraries to destinations such as the Canaries and Morocco.

It will the ship’s first stops in Morocco since 2008 and passengers can visit Tangier and Casablanca.

In February and March 2024, Infinity will be based in Greece, offering 10 and 11-night itineraries to Egypt and Greece.

Passengers will be able to visit some of the world’s most famous historic sites, including the Great Pyramid of Giza, Cairo, and the Acropolis in Athens.

The voyages will also feature overnight stays in Malaga, Spain; Porto, Portugal; Jerusalem, Israel; Alexandria, Egypt; or Athens, Greece.
