Beach restaurant The Hut is set to open its first overseas venue in Antigua in November.
The brand was established in 2013 with the opening of its flagship restaurant in Colwell Bay on the Isle of Wight.
The new Caribbean outpost will retain The Hut’s focus on fresh ingredients with a menu centred around locally-caught fish and traditional Antiguan ingredients. The venue will also have private cabanas and beach huts available to rent on the beaches that surround the restaurant.
To celebrate the upcoming opening, Blue Waters Resort & Spa, which is located in Antigua, took a group of nine agents to the Colwell Bay venue. The group travelled across the Solent by private charter for a three-course lunch, and were joined by Joel Henry from the Antigua & Barbuda Tourism Authority.
The Hut’s operators, George and Matt Adams, said: “With the addition of The Hut, Little Jumby, we are excited to be building on our reputation for offering some of the best, fresh seafood in some of the world’s most sought-after destinations.”
