Aspire Awards guests raise £6,000 for Reuben’s Retreat

Attendees at this year’s Aspire Awards raised more than £6,000 for charity partner Reuben’s Retreat.

The event, held in Manchester on October 17, was attended by more than 400 representatives from the luxury travel sector.

The charity appeal was supported by CV Villas who donated a week’s stay in a villa in Corfu for six people. Guests were able to buy tickets to the raffle for a chance to win the villa stay.

In total £6,100 was raised for the charity.

Commenting on the fundraising appeal on social media, a spokesperson for Rueben’s Retreat said: “We held a charity raffle with a stunning prize courtesy of CV Villas which raised a phenomenal £6,100 for our cause. Thank you to CV Villas and everyone in the room who donated. This amount will make such a big difference to the work we do with families navigating touch times and facing uncertain futures.”

Aspire editor Hollie-Rae Brader said: “Each year I’m overwhelmed by the generosity of our guests, and this year was no different. This was the most we’ve ever raised for a charity at the Aspire Awards and I can’t thank our guests enough for showing such support for Rueben’s Retreat. I was lucky enough to visit the charity recently to see the tremendous work they do.”
