Air Charter Service to host agent webinar on securing contracts and commission

Air Charter Service is to host a complimentary webinar for travel agents entitled ‘How to Charter a Private Jet’.

The webinar is set to take place on Thursday, February 11 at 11am.

Hosted by Gavin Copus, global business development director at Air Charter Service and Jessica Howes, senior manager of Private Jets London, it will cover booking systems, quotations, the range of jets available and top tips on selling charter and securing commission.

Air Charter Service reported a 25% increase in new customers booking throughout 2020, a figure it said demonstrated huge appetite for private jet travel and a “lucrative opportunity” for agents to upsell to customers who would usually fly in business or first class.

The global aircraft charter company said it was expecting a resurgence in demand for bespoke itineraries and predicted there would be an approximate 30% increase in numbers of high-end agents booking private jets in 2021.

“Since the start of the pandemic, we have seen an increase in demand for people looking to fly privately due to reasons of hygiene, accessibility and flexibility in comparison to commercial flights,” Copus said.

“After seeing a consistent rise in enquiries and bookings from first time private jet flyers in 2020 and following the success of our inaugural travel agent training in December, we wanted to provide another opportunity to educate travel agents on how to capitalise on this opportunity by simplifying the charter-selling process and offering tips on how they can upsell to their customers.”

Agents can register for the webinar here: aircharterservice.zoom.uk/webinar/register.
