Ten-day itinerary part of 2026-27 season
A 10-day ‘Taste of Antarctica’ itinerary has been introduced by AE Expeditions for the 2026-27 sailing season.
The cruise is aimed at time-conscious travellers seeking an introduction to the remote destination.
Several special edition departures catering to adventure enthusiasts, photographers, science and enrichment seekers and women travellers have been added.
The new programme features 27 voyages ranging from nine to 34 days in duration by the company’s purpose-built expedition vessels Greg Mortimer, Sylvia Earle and Douglas Mawson.
Destinations include the Antarctic Peninsula, East Antarctica & Ross Sea, South Georgia and the Falkland Islands.
Chief executive Michael Heath said: “Antarctica continues to inspire and captivate explorers from all walks of life, and our 2026-27 season is designed to deepen those connections.
“With the addition of new itineraries like ‘Taste of Antarctica’ and a dynamic line-up of themed expeditions, including our new women’s only voyage and itineraries in partnership with New Scientist, we are thrilled to offer travellers even more ways to immerse themselves in the beauty, science, and adventure of Antarctica.
“This season truly reflects our commitment to creating transformative journeys that leave both our travellers and the destinations they visit enriched.”
