Abercrombie & Kent opens four destination management companies

Luxury specialist Abercrombie & Kent has opened destination management companies in Colombia, Namibia, Saudi Arabia and Canada to cater for growing demand.

A&K now has more than 55 offices in 30-plus countries, making it the world’s largest network of luxury DMCs.

Martin Froggatt, executive vice-president of destination management, said: “Luxury travel is rebounding at an incredible rate, and we’re ready to serve the demand.

“A&K’s global experience, offering unparalleled consistency, insider access and financial resilience makes our growth trajectory huge.

“Listening to our partners, we know the demand for A&K to open more DMCs is firmly there.”

Other recent DMC openings from A&K include the US and the company has established offices in countries such as Kenya, Egypt, Thailand and Brazil, with operations on all seven continents and a staff of almost 2,500.

The company operates three outbound tour operating businesses in Australasia, Europe and North America.

Headquartered in London, the company celebrates the 60th anniversary in 2022 of its founding by Geoffrey Kent and his parents in Kenya.
