Windstar recruits new marketing chief

An executive with experience at Azamara, Royal Caribbean Group, Celebrity Cruises and Unique Vacations (Sandals Resorts) is to run marketing for Windstar Cruises.

Patricia Gonzalez (centre) has been named marketing vice president for the small ship luxury line, bringing almost two decades of experience in the travel and marketing industries.

Meanwhile, former AmaWaterways art director Dane Neal Cox has joined Windstar as creative director.  

Chief commercial officer Janet Bava said: “We are confident that Patricia and Dane’s contributions will have a significant impact on our continued success.

“We look forward to the fresh insights, creativity and expertise that they will bring to our team.
