Global business aviation company Vistajet has launched a dedicated wellness programme that aims to reduce jetlag and “rejuvenate” fliers.
The programme features a range of onboard wellness facilities and services as well as a “multifaceted global wellness portfolio” of destinations, hotels and experiences focused on wellbeing.
A series of pre, post and in-flight wellness services include consultations with a Vistajet nutritionist on the best foods to eat before and during flight; wellness dining menus designed alongside nutritionists and leading athletes; ergonomic aircraft seating to assist posture and dynamic daylight simulation to sync to destination time zone; meditation and breathing apps; onboard products from leading wellness brands; and guides on jet lag management and hydrating effectively after arrival.
The Vistajet Wellness programme also connects clients with a range of exclusive wellbeing experiences under the brand’s Private World portfolio of travel and brand partners.
Its collection of Private World wellness recommendations includes a 21-day spiritual expedition through Nepal and Bhutan with Pelorus; an immersion in herbalism and Andean medicinal traditions in Peru’s Sacred Valley with The Luminaire; and a holistic adventure through the USA and Mexico with Abercrombie & Kent.
The portfolio also spotlights wellness-focused properties including Joali Being, Zulal Wellness Resort by Chiva-Som and Hacienda AltaGracia, Auberge Resorts Collection.
Vistajet said the launch was in response to demand from its members as well as global trends towards “greater meaning, longevity and impactful life experiences”.
Chief marketing officer Matteo Atti said: “Flying better means living better, and the advantage of flying private should not be limited to the speed of the flight alone. In VistaJet’s aim for excellence, we researched all the ways to benefit the minds and bodies of the people who fly with us. Using our resources, knowledge and network, we can really support our members, particularly those who spend a lot of time in the air. When flying is part of your life or business routine, we want to make sure it is a moment that adds value.”
