Visit Madeira partners with B2B event specialist Connections Luxury

Visit Madeira has partnered with B2B event specialist Connections Luxury to host its summer international showcase this week.

The five-day event will take place virtually through the week, with 75 luxury suppliers meeting with 200 travel agencies from around the world.

The event will also welcome 30 representatives of Madeira’s private sector who offer luxury products.

Connections Luxury is part of the portfolio of Travel Weekly’s parent company Jacobs Media Group, and is a private community for international decision-makers in high-end travel.

It has pioneered the Connections Way format which brings together buyers and sellers over authentic experiences within a destination.

The programme will also feature an educational ConnecTALKS panel which will explore the challenges, solutions and successes of selling luxury travel today.

“The new tourist is seeking uncrowded and unspoiled destinations, sustainable tourism and a sense of authenticity. Madeira has long been up to that challenge.”
