Uniworld Boutique River Cruises has launched a Limited Edition Collection, including one-off sailings and offerings with one or two ‘extra special’ departures per year.
Ellen Bettridge, Uniworld president and chief executive, said. “The collection includes inclusive LGBTQ+ sailings hosted by gay and lesbian travel veterans; floating art workshops with special guest artists; mystery cruises and more on select dates.
“Plus, some offerings in the collection are offered for one-time only, such as our popular surprise Mystery Cruises and world trips spanning the globe.
“We’re even adding a women’s cruise for 2024 to the collection, so female travellers should keep an eye out for more details coming soon.”
The collection includes Rivers of the World Cruises, a range which sees the debut of Uniworld’s longest journeys.
The cruises take guests to several countries and continents in a single ‘bucket list’ journey.
The inaugural 2023 Rivers of the World cruise will depart on May 20, from Cairo to Lisbon. The 46-night journey will span nine countries and two continents aboard five ships.
Its second world cruise, the 2024 Rivers of the World trip, will depart on October 3, 2024, from Lima to Ho Chi Minh.
The 54-night trip will visit 10 countries on three continents.
The 2023 Rivers of the World prices start from £40,459, and the 2024 Rivers of the World prices start from £38,789.
The LGBTQ+ sailings are featured in the Out! On the Rivers LGBTQ+ range of one-week cruises in France, Holland and Belgium.
They are hosted by gay and lesbian travel veterans Gregg Kaminsky and Kelli Carpenter, who run a successful travel service for LGBTQ+ communities.
The Floating Art Workshops range will feature Bordeaux and Danube options, accompanied by artist Larry Aarons.
Another workshop will be accompanied by artist Leora Raikin on the ‘Venice & The Jewels of Veneto’ itinerary departing on August 13.
There will be two 10-day Mystery Cruises, one in June and one in July, with Bettridge hosting the July departure.
