Uniworld provides backdrop for ITV’s Good Morning Britain

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises provided the backdrop for ITV’s Good Morning Britain to advertise a competition organised by the channel.

Presenter Andi Peters shared details of the competition, where entrants can win £85,000 and a £20,000 Trailfinders gift card, while on board the line’s all-suite River Tosca in Luxor, Egypt.

Uniworld said television is an “effective platform” for it to showcase its products and said the broadcast offered viewers an insight into the line’s 12-day Splendours of the Nile itinerary.

The tour includes a seven-night sailing round-trip from Luxor and four nights at The Nile Ritz-Carlton in Cairo, with options to visit the Luxor Temple, the Valley of the Kings and the Pyramids of Giza.

The line is currently running a special offer for the itinerary if booked by January 21 which includes a £250 per person discount, private transfers in the UK, transfers in Egypt, accommodation in Cairo and on River Tosca and all meals on board.

Chris Townson, the line’s UK & Europe managing director, said: “For Uniworld, TV has proven to be a very effective platform in sharing the quality of our product and experience.

“We were hugely excited to showcase our stunning all-suite River Tosca, as well as glimpse of the incredible scenery and history that our itineraries on the Nile offer to millions of viewers on such a prestigious, prime time programme.”
