UK operators support Saint Lucia tourism push

A consumer and trade tourism push by Saint Lucia is being supported with offers from leading UK operators.

Those participating include Caribtours, Kenwood Travel, Simply St. Lucia Luxury Holidays and Turquoise.

The Saint Lucia Tourism Authority has created a dedicated web page featuring selected holidays for couples.

This is being supported by digital ads including a 15 second ‘romance ad’ running for eight weeks alongside social media content and a competition on Facebook to win a prize of five nights all-inclusive at Bay Gardens Beach Resort.

A trade promotion is running alongside on Saint Lucia’s Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/saintluciaexpert to win Hotel Chocolat prizes.

Saint Lucia is home to the chocolate brand’s Rabot Estate cacao farm and hotel.

The island has seen a rise in monthly arrivals from the UK returning to pre-pandemic levels, with January levels up to more that 7,000 UK holidaymakers.

Tourism authority UK and Europe director Patricia Charlery said: “We’ve seen a rise in demand for that special holiday for two in Saint Lucia. It’s the perfect setting with its stunning scenery and unique accommodation.”
