“This breakfast digest will complement the service we already provide for those people working at a senior level in the travel industry who these days expect to get their industry news immediately and online."
The launch of TWbusiness:am comes after the Travel Weekly magazine unveiled a new look during its 40th year in 2010 with a design and format tailored specifically for its core travel agent readership.
Lucy Huxley, TWgroup editor-in-chief, said: “Publishing in the digital age means we can adapt our products for specific segments of our readership.
“While the weekly publication will continue to provide must-read news, product information and analysis adapted for its readership, travelweekly.co.uk, now supported by the new TWbusiness:am breakfast alert, will increasingly drive the news agenda online.
“It’s important that the TWgroup is seen as both the authoritative voice when it comes to the key breaking news that impacts on the travel industry, as well as a vehicle to engages with the travel agent community and wider travel trade in a magazine format that is lively and familiar to them.”
