Top Villas has said 2,500 UK travel agents have signed up for its new platform, called Luxury Villa Rentals, which launched in November 2023.

The new white-label platform enables agents to share Top Villas’ portfolio of more than 10,000 properties with clients without worrying about the agency’s customers booking direct.

During in the first half of 2024, the platform will allow full customisation so agents can add their own logo, domain and tailored enquiry forms.

James Mannings, co-founder and chief executive of Top Villas, said: “The platform has been carefully designed to cater to the unique needs of travel agents and their clients, providing an intuitive interface to browse and share our properties effortlessly without any connection with Top Villas.

“We’re creating opportunities for agents who are hoping to redefine their way of operating and showcasing their offerings to clients.

“Focusing on seamless communication, we’ve homed in on streamlining collaboration as much as possible by allowing agents to effortlessly share our selected properties with their clients through various channels, making the entire process more efficient.”

The system offers live availability and rates to its users so that agents always have the latest information.

Additional features include enhanced search functionality, interactive maps and comprehensive search filters.

Full home descriptions, detailed lists of amenities, visuals and “immersive walkthroughs” aim to help clients understand what each property offers.

Brothers James and Tom Mannings started their rental company in 2006 and by 2010 it had become known as Top Villas. The company has its head office in a former country manor house near Canterbury, and another office in Orlando, Florida.

About 15,000 travel agents in total have signed up for the new platform, and the company has worked with the trade in the UK and US since 2015.
