Tool launched to help agents create luxury Estonia itineraries

A new programme has been launched to help travel agents create luxury itineraries in Estonia.

Luxest showcases the country’s leading hotels and properties, Michelin Guide restaurants and a range of leisure activities.

Andy Fairburn, director of Nordic Travel Solutions, the trade representative arm of Visit Estonia in the UK, said: “Luxest aims to make it easy for UK travel agents and tour operators to source some of the best suppliers in Estonia to create outstanding opportunities to meet the requirements of the most discerning travellers.”

Among the accommodation on offer are five-star hotels in Tallinn and rural estates with spas and saunas.

Meanwhile, dining options in the country include the 34 venues in the Michelin Guide 2023.

Activities in the ‘Do’ section of the Luxest programme include fishing, golf and horse riding.

Fairburn said: “Estonia is a country with a strong sense of purpose, imagination and national pride and the advances made in their luxury offerings deserve greater recognition.”

Travel Counsellors agent Caroline Linton, who has been on a fam trip to Estonia, said the new tool was likely to prove useful.

“The Luxest programme sounds like a good way to focus on the premium experiences Estonia offers,” she said.

“For agents, having a directory of luxury suppliers to hand will help when creating itineraries for clients looking for high quality stays.”

S&N Pickford business travel consultant Lina Bruzaite was in agreement.

She said: “Having a set of top-end Estonian suppliers for agents to make direct contact with will be a real asset.”
