Tivoli Hotels & Resorts to make debut in Spain

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts is to make its debut in Spain with the opening of Tivoli La Caleta Resort in Tenerife. 

The five-star resort in Costa Adeje is owned by European Hospitality Opportunities and will be operated by Tivoli Hotels & Resorts management company NH Hotel Group.

The 284-room property previously operated under the Sheraton brand and is scheduled to relaunch as Tivoli La Caleta Resort in spring 2023.

The resort is currently closed and undergoing a renovation. When it reopens, accommodation with include 20 suites. There will also be four restaurants, two bars, ten meeting rooms, three swimming pools, a fitness centre, and tennis and paddle tennis courts.

Tivoli will collaborate with well-known Portuguese chef Oliver da Costa to develop and implement its new restaurant concepts. These will include Yakuza, which will offer fusion food combining Mediterranean flavours with sushi and sashimi; casual food offering Guilty; and the Beach Club, which will serve dishes inspired by the island’s cuisine.

Tivoli La Caleta Resort will also house an Anantara Spa which will offer spa and wellness traditions alongside modern techniques.   

Tivoli Hotels & Resorts currently has 16 properties across four countries in its portfolio, 10 of which are in Portugal. It is owned by Minor Hotels and managed by NH Hotel Group in Europe.
