Irish family-owned hotel group The Doyle Collection has appointed Timur Sentuerk as its new chief executive.
Sentuerk will oversee the strategic direction of the group, which operates a portfolio of eight hotels across London, Dublin, Cork, Bristol and Washington DC.
His focus will be on “growth and elevating guest experience” with plans to “drive innovation across the brand’s operations and expand its presence in key markets”.
Sentuerk has more than 30 years’ experience in the luxury hospitality industry. He was most recently chief operating officer at Kempinski Hotels, a role he has held since 2022.
Prior to this, he served as senior vice-president of operations at Langham Hospitality Group and vice-president of operations at Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
He has also held management roles at The Ritz-Carlton and Oberoi Hotels & Resorts and was assistant director of F&B at Mandarin Oriental.
